2025 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program

The Lynn Police Department intends to apply for funding through the Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Act. The Lynn Police Department is eligible to receive up to $57,133 in grant funding that may be expended over four years. Funding may be used within any of the eleven purpose areas established by the Bureau of Justice. The Lynn Police Department intends to use FY25 JAG funds to cover both overtime costs for our Central Business District Bicycle Unit officers and technology costs associated with wireless access expenses and upgrades.
